1. Introduction and scope
F11 Software Lab (Private) Limited (“F11 Software Lab”, “we”, “us” or “our”) develops and publishes Dead Circuit: Zombie Defense, an Android tower-defense game distributed through Google Play. Its Android package is com.f11softwarelab.deadcircuit.
This Privacy Policy explains how information may be stored, used or otherwise processed when you use the Game or contact us for support. It distinguishes information stored locally by the Game from information that Google, Unity, Android or other service providers may process under their own policies.
The Game does not require an F11 Software Lab account or login. The absence of an account does not mean that advertising, store or platform providers process no data.
2. Information stored locally by the Game
The Game may store information on your device so that gameplay and preferences work between sessions. This may include:
- Campaign progress across the 100-level campaign, completed or unlocked levels, stars and related progression.
- Persistent in-game or campaign currency where applicable.
- Music, sound-effects, vibration and graphics-quality preferences.
- Notification preference and local reminder scheduling state.
- Advertising cooldown or eligibility state.
- Rewarded-ad and rewarded-continue state needed to prevent duplicate or invalid rewards.
- Remove Ads entitlement state or cached purchase status, where applicable.
- Other technical preferences needed to operate the Game.
Defender placement, temporary defender upgrades, targeting selections and battle salvage are primarily mission gameplay state. They are not represented here as persistent cross-session progress unless a released version explicitly saves them.
This information is generally stored on the device. The Game does not provide an F11-operated account-based cloud-save service. We do not promise that local progress will be backed up, synchronized or restored on another device. Android, Google or a device manufacturer may provide backup or device-transfer features independently; whether those features include or restore Game data depends on the release configuration, device and platform settings.
Using Reset Progress deletes the applicable local campaign progress and currency data covered by that control. It does not necessarily delete every preference, a Google Play transaction or subscription record, information already processed by an advertising provider, or platform backups. Clearing the Game’s application data or uninstalling it can remove locally stored progress and preferences. Those actions do not cancel a subscription.
3. Information the Game does not ask you to provide
The Game has no user account, login, chat, messaging, social feed or user-generated-content feature. It does not directly ask you for a name, phone number, postal address, contact list or precise location for gameplay. It does not provide location-based gameplay.
If you contact support, the information you choose to send is handled as described in section 11. Google, Android and other providers may separately receive account, device, network or transaction information through their services.
4. Advertising
The Game integrates the Google Mobile Ads SDK to provide Google AdMob advertising.
Interstitial advertisements
Interstitial advertisements may be shown at eligible transitions after completed battles. They are not intended to interrupt active combat. Their availability and timing depend on the Game’s eligibility rules, provider inventory, network conditions and technical status.
Voluntary rewarded advertisements
Rewarded advertisements are initiated by the player in exchange for the specific optional benefit shown in the Game. They may include an optional rewarded continue after defeat. A reward is granted only after the advertising provider reports successful reward completion. Closing, skipping, interrupting or failing to complete an advertisement may result in no reward. Rewarded-ad availability is not guaranteed.
Remove Ads
When a valid Remove Ads entitlement is available and recognized, it is intended to suppress forced interstitial advertisements. It does not remove voluntary rewarded-ad choices. You can choose whether to use those rewarded options.
Information advertising services may process
Depending on device settings, consent choices, region and Google’s service configuration, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as:
- Advertising or device identifiers where available.
- Device, operating-system and application information.
- IP address and approximate location inferred from IP address.
- Advertisement requests, impressions, clicks and other interactions.
- Diagnostics, crash information and performance information associated with the advertising service.
- Fraud-prevention, security and invalid-traffic signals.
- Consent and advertising privacy choices where applicable.
Google and participating advertising providers may use this information to deliver, measure, secure and improve advertising, prevent fraud and, where allowed by your choices and applicable law, personalize advertisements. Turning off personalized advertising does not necessarily stop contextual advertising, measurement, fraud prevention or other permitted processing.
For more information, review Google’s Privacy Policy, how Google uses information from apps that use its services, and My Ad Center.
5. Advertising privacy choices
Advertising consent and privacy options may be presented when required by the Game’s production configuration, Google services or applicable law. The options shown can depend on your region and provider availability.
You may also use Android, Google account and My Ad Center controls. Withdrawing consent or changing an advertising setting can affect future processing, but it may not erase information already retained by Google or another provider. Contact the relevant provider for information it controls independently.
Advertising consent and privacy options are provided according to the Game’s audience configuration, your region, applicable law and Google’s requirements.
6. Google Play purchases and planned subscriptions
The Game integrates Google Play Billing for planned Remove Ads Monthly and Remove Ads Yearly subscriptions. These products may not be available in every build, country, test track or rollout. The Game does not sell virtual currency for real money in the current V1 unless that changes through an explicitly documented update.
Google Play, rather than F11 Software Lab, processes checkout and payment credentials. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number. Information used to provide and support a purchase may include:
- Product identifier and transaction status.
- Purchase token and subscription status.
- Country or region and localized pricing information supplied by Google.
- Limited purchase information needed for entitlement validation, restoration, fraud prevention and customer support.
When offered, subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled according to the terms displayed by Google Play before purchase. Prices, tax, currency, billing period, trial or introductory offer are controlled by the Google Play offer shown to you and may vary by country. You can manage Google Play subscriptions. Uninstalling the Game does not cancel a subscription.
The Game may check, cache or restore entitlement information. A Restore Purchases function may be available depending on the production implementation. Purchase restoration and entitlement recognition can require the correct Google account, Google Play availability, network access and successful verification. Remove Ads affects forced interstitials; voluntary rewarded-ad choices may remain available.
7. Local notifications
The Game may request Android notification permission. Notifications are optional, and you can disable them in the Game or Android system settings.
If enabled, the Game may schedule a local inactivity reminder approximately ten hours after you leave the Game. Returning to the Game may cancel or reschedule a pending reminder. Delivery can be delayed or prevented by notification permission, Android version, device-manufacturer behavior, battery optimization, Doze, force-stop behavior and other system settings. The Game does not guarantee an exact delivery time.
This reminder is scheduled locally through Unity Mobile Notifications and Android services. It is not described as a remote push-marketing service and does not require us to collect your contacts, messages or precise location. If remote push notifications are introduced later, this Policy will need to be updated before that behavior is represented here.
8. Android permissions and platform services
The Game uses Android and Google Play services needed for supported features. It may request notification permission for local reminders. Advertising and purchase features require network access and use Google services.
Permissions shown by Android or Google Play can vary by Android version, device, installed SDK versions and release configuration. A permission being technically available does not mean that the Game uses it for an unrelated purpose. Review the current Google Play listing and Android permission screen for the release installed on your device.
9. Unity technologies
The Game is built with the Unity game engine and uses Unity Mobile Notifications for local Android notifications. The Game currently uses Google AdMob, rather than Unity Ads, for advertising. Unity Ads and a separate Unity Analytics service are not currently identified as enabled Game services. If the Game’s Unity service configuration changes in a way that affects personal information, this Policy will be updated where required.
Unity technologies or platform components may process technical information where their installed components and configuration require it. For information Unity controls independently, see Unity’s Game Player and App User Privacy Policy.
10. Purposes and legal bases
We and our providers may process relevant information for the following purposes:
- Providing and maintaining gameplay, local progress and settings.
- Processing, validating or restoring purchases and entitlements.
- Delivering eligible interstitial advertisements and player-requested rewarded advertisements.
- Providing the rewarded benefit confirmed by the advertising provider.
- Preventing fraud, invalid advertising activity, purchase abuse and security incidents.
- Diagnosing crashes, advertising failures and technical faults supplied through integrated services.
- Responding to support and privacy requests.
- Meeting legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
- Improving security, compatibility and reliability.
Depending on the information, service and jurisdiction, the legal basis may include performing a service you request, your consent, legitimate interests in security, fraud prevention, support and product reliability, or compliance with legal obligations. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it for future processing through the applicable control. Withdrawal does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.
11. Support communications
If you voluntarily email us, we may receive your email address, message content, attachments and any device or app information you choose to provide. We use this information to investigate and answer your request, provide support, prevent abuse and keep records where reasonably needed for legal or operational purposes.
Please do not send passwords, full payment-card details, identity documents or unrelated sensitive information. Support correspondence is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary considering the request, follow-up needs, security, recordkeeping and legal obligations. You may request deletion, subject to information we must retain or information controlled by your email provider or another service.
12. Sharing and service providers
Information may be processed by or disclosed to the following categories where relevant:
- Google AdMob and advertising partners for advertising delivery, measurement, security and fraud prevention.
- Google Play and Google Play Billing for distribution, purchases, subscriptions, entitlement information and store support.
- Android and device-platform services for permissions, local notifications and any applicable backup or transfer functions.
- Unity technologies used to build or operate the Game, including local notification components.
- Support, technical, professional or legal providers when needed to operate support, verify an issue, protect rights or comply with law.
- Courts, regulators, law enforcement or other authorities where disclosure is legally required.
F11 Software Lab does not sell users’ personal information for money. Advertising providers may process or disclose information in ways that some privacy laws define as “sharing” or targeted advertising. Their processing is governed by their own policies, your available choices and applicable law.
13. International processing
Google, Unity and other providers may process information in countries outside your country. They are responsible for the transfer mechanisms and safeguards that apply to processing they control. The location and legal protections may differ from those in your home country. Review the provider policies linked above for current details.
14. Retention
Retention depends on the type of information and who controls it:
- Local Game data generally remains until replaced by later gameplay, deleted through an applicable Game control, cleared through Android settings or removed when the Game is uninstalled, subject to any platform backup or transfer copy.
- Advertising and platform records are retained by Google or other providers according to their policies, service settings, legal obligations and fraud-prevention needs.
- Purchase and entitlement records may be retained by Google and, where available to the Game, used as long as reasonably necessary to provide, restore, secure and support the purchase and meet legal obligations.
- Support messages are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the request, follow-up, security, dispute handling and legal obligations.
- Security, fraud and legal records may be retained as reasonably required to investigate abuse, establish or defend rights, and comply with law.
We do not assign a fixed period to information independently controlled by Google, Unity, Android or another provider.
15. Children and target audience
The Game is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children contrary to applicable law. Age and parental-consent requirements differ by country. Where parental involvement is legally required, a parent or guardian should review the child’s use of the Game, advertising choices and purchases.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us contrary to applicable law, contact us using the details below. Do not send the child’s identity document in the first message.
16. Your controls and deletion choices
Depending on the feature and provider, you can:
- Use available Google, device and advertising-consent controls for personalized advertising.
- Choose whether to start a voluntary rewarded advertisement.
- Disable local notifications in the Game or Android settings.
- Change music, sound-effects, vibration and graphics-quality preferences.
- Manage or cancel a subscription through Google Play.
- Use Reset Progress for the applicable local campaign and currency data.
- Clear application data or uninstall the Game to remove local data, subject to backups and third-party records.
- Contact us about privacy, access or deletion questions.
To make a privacy or deletion request, email support@f11softwarelab.site with the subject “Dead Circuit Data Request”. Explain the information or action you are requesting. We may need reasonable information to understand and verify the request, but please do not send unnecessary sensitive data.
Because the Game has no F11 account, local progress may need to be deleted by you on the device. Google-controlled advertising, account and transaction information may require Google account, Google Play or provider controls. Clearing local data or contacting us does not cancel a Google Play subscription.
17. Privacy rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or complain to an appropriate data-protection authority. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions.
We will respond to requests concerning information we control as required by applicable law. For information controlled independently by Google, Unity, Android, your email provider or another service, you may need to use that provider’s controls or contact it directly.
18. Security
We seek to use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the information and services we control. Google, Unity and platform providers apply their own security practices to their services. No electronic storage, software or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure, and this Policy does not promise absolute security or uninterrupted availability.
19. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Game, integrated services, legal requirements or information practices change. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective or last-updated date and any additional notice required by applicable law.
